A protected sound with flat and shallow water. Reefs and coral heads around the edges but deep water in most of the sound. Little traffic, but be alert for charter boats mooring daily. The water is always clean, clear and beautiful.

A protected sound exposed to the prevailing easterly trades which funnel between the islands and pick up speed. There are two major passes which the wind blows through, East and Southeast. The wind is strongest in the winter.

Nightlife
Saba Rock, Leverick Bay Resort, Sand Box Bar, Bitter End Yacht Club all local drinking establishments. Spanish Town is a 30 minute cab ride from Gun Creek for more entertainment.
