Wave size, naturally depends on weather conditions (1-6m, average is 2m). The beach is very long, and there is a section where surfers tend to ride. Watch out for jelly fish episodes (rare), which with the local restaurant where the lifeguard hangs out first, no sharks, etc. otherwise. Yes, you can see your car parked in the parking lot. Don't leave anything in the car or it will be broken into. Catch highway A8 from Lisboa towards Torres Vedras (exit at Torres Vedras). This is a toll highway. Follow the signs towards Termas do Vimeiro, then Hotel Golf Mar. The beach is south of the hotel, the golf course and the horse riding.
