Flat to choppy water. No waves as the bay is sheltered from the swell. During low tide many stingrays. The Lagoon of Punta Chame is best around mid tide. The best place in Punta Chame for teaching and learning as you have waist deep water, no currents and waves.

Via the Panamericana from Panama City south, exit the Panamericana at Punta Chame `sign`. Rough road for half an hour till Punta Chame. Total time from Panama City 1.5 hours.

Nightlife

Nightlife in Punta Chame happens at the restaurants and kite schools. The pizzeria in town is recommended and Panama Kite Center does bi-weekly parties with a DJ.
