Soft sand beach marked off from beachgoers. Can be very crowded with kitesurfers and crowds will be just next door to the launch area if the weather is nice, so be careful!

Anything with East works here. Cross shore can get shadowed and weird. Due east can be tough to get upwind through the waves--intermediate or higher only. From October to May there is enough wind 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 days, usually for 10m-14m kites. Outside of those months there is very little wind and it's usually storm winds (gusty, direction changes).

Run as a concession by local kitesurfing shop. Dedicated beach for kiting but it costs $15/day to kite here and they check for IKO 3 certification. Parking usually available $1/hour. Only official place in Miami Beach to have lessons.
