Main Break Margaret River has been a popular surf and windsurfing spot for many years. Unfortunately nowadays more and more intermediate kitesurfers are seen on this potentially dangerous spot. The has led to accidents that could have easily prevented and creates trouble between to local kiters and windsurfers/surfers. This is not a freestyle or freeride spot and kitesurfers with twin tips should rather kite on the beaches upwind. Kitesurfers that want to get into wave riding should choose spots with less danger-factors like Yallingup.
