Very occasionally, there are other users on the water. Miles of ocean to oneself. A huge sand bar extends out for a few KM. Excellent flatwater conditions +/- 3 hrs around low tide. At high tide, some 1m waves break way out on the sand bar but no tubes. Just fun to play on.

Nightlife
There are two bars on the stretch of beach and most guests that are there will meet at them. Always a social buzz of some kind. Peponi Bar in Shela village round the other side of the island is a winner. Very lively and interesting people always to be found.
