The best time to spend your kitesurf vacation in Roatans East End is the period of time when the cooling trade winds blow with high consistency over the island's shores, namely from December to September. The trades usually blow at a moderate wind speed of 12-25 knots. During the Winter time, December, January, February lighter trade winds 12-20 and storms from the north (mostly January to March). From March to August 20+ knots. The peak of the windy season is April, May with 20+ knots all day and almost every day.
