Best riding in N and NW winds. Gusty with E winds. Best season is from late September to April/May. During the summer months larger gear is necessary, but during the season kites of 10 or 12m are the norm.

Get to New Braunfels and here towards Canyon Lake. Get on 2673, drive through Sattler and you will see the signs to the Comal Park. Depending on the wind direction drive to the Swim Beach or to the East Boat Ramp.
Extra information
It is a public park where you have to pay for daily access (US$ 4 per car and US$ 1 per person, annual pass US$ 30). The park closes at sunset. Stay away from the swimmers. Watch out for boats and jet skis.
