Long, but narrow beach. Walk north away from the main crowds for more space to launch the kite. Best way is to launch the kite towards the water and land it being in the water flying it low so the helper can catch it. Specially during weekends and holidays many sun bathers. Many huts along the beach. If you are alone, walk all the way north to the kite school for help to launch.

A bit less wind than Cartagena. If the wind is too strong in Cartagena you can go here for about 5 knots less. Normally the wind increases in the afternoon around 4pm.

How to get there

Transport
Car, Boat
Access
Long walk

You can take a boat from Cartagena (Muelle Turistico, in front of Parque de la Marina) which takes you directly to the beach at 8am. But it also returns around 4pm, so you will miss the wind, but you can stay overnight. Or by car, then park (fee) and walk for about 5-10 min).
