For five years the snowkiting season in Lapland has been started with a camp in Pallas. Pallas is a picture perfect snowkiting location deep in a national park in Lapland, Finland.
In Pallas you have vast or better said endless terrain suitable for snowkiting. The mountains aren't too steep for kiting but steep enough to keep you pumping. There are no trees in the valleys so you can kite from one mountain to another!
How to get there?
Even tough Pallas is very remote getting there is fairly easy. You fly to Kittilä (KTT) via Helsinki (HEL) and from Kittilä we can arrange shuttle to the hotel.
Once you get there you are not in a hurry anymore. The kitespot is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and after kiting you can enjoy the nice dinner in the hotel. In the evening there is a sauna and even a possibility to dip in a frozen lake :o
When the sky is clear (that is pretty common) you can enjoy the most amazing northern lights.
How about the wind?
In the past 5 years we have had one day with no wind.
Costs
For example from monday till friday in a 2 person bedroom the cost is 345€
This includes accomodation, breakfast and dinner.
